Why I’m Participating in Faith in Motion 7K

My family is excited to participate in Faith in Motion 7K to support the incredible work of Faith Seeds in Xela, Guatemala. This campaign is raising funds to provide nutritious meals and after-school programming for more than 200 children and families who are part of the Faith Seeds community.

The Faith Seeds team in Guatemala is hosting a local 7K race in Xela to raise awareness and support within their community. Participants there are coming together to move, connect, and donate groceries to help provide food support for Faith Seeds families. I want to join their efforts from here by taking on the challenge to run, walk, or ride 7K by August 9th and raise funds to help make this mission possible.

I’m creating this fundraiser because I believe every child deserves the opportunity to be nourished, encouraged, and equipped to thrive. Through Faith Seeds’ programs, children receive more than a meal—they experience care, community, and opportunities to learn and grow.
