Our staff engages with the community we serve in many ways. Our staff visits the workers in the garbage dump frequently to provide food, fellowship, and encouragement. 

We also recognize that many other challenges, such as health, affect our students and their ability to succeed academically. We offer as much support as our finances allow to address any needs or challenges our families face, such as getting eye glasses for children or purchasing needed medications that are unaffordable. 

Community outreach also involves providing direct services to our parents as much as possible. We also host educational workshops for parents to help contribute to their child's success and create opportunities for parents to find alternative employment outside of the garbage dumps.
